iris ffb2d78a56 fix(dashboard): draw jobq tree connectors with CSS lines instead of box-drawing chars
Replace the Unicode prefix string approach (└─ / ├─ / │ built up as text
in a single <span class="rqe-tree-indent">) with positioned DOM elements
that draw real lines:

- rqe-tree-guide: fixed-width ancestor column, optionally draws a full
vertical border-left when the ancestor has siblings below it
  (.rqe-tree-guide-line).
- rqe-tree-connector: draws the L/T shape via ::before (vertical stem,
top→center for last child, full height for mid child) and ::after
  (horizontal spur, center→right). .rqe-tree-connector-last vs
  .rqe-tree-connector-mid controls stem length.

renderTreeNode() now takes ancestorLines: boolean[] instead of a prefix
string. Each entry is true when the ancestor at that depth was not the
last child (so a vertical guide is still needed through that column).
childAncestorLines propagates depth === 0 correctly (root nodes have no
guide columns, so their children start with an empty array).

Lines are drawn with var(--border) so they follow the theme and work at
any font size without alignment drift. Addresses the review note on PR 2686.

hyperhive frontend

npm workspaces project for the hyperhive browser-facing assets:

  • packages/shared/ — shared modules used by both surfaces (terminal pane, Catppuccin palette + body typography).
  • packages/dashboard/ — the hive-c0re dashboard SPA.
  • packages/agent/ — the per-container web UI (default agent page, stats, screen).

Build

npm install # one-off; uses the checked-in package-lock.json
npm run build # builds every workspace into packages/*/dist/

The Rust binaries serve packages/dashboard/dist/ and packages/agent/dist/ via tower_http::ServeDir at runtime; the build derivation is wired up in nix/modules/frontend.nix. Per-agent additions are layered on top of the default agent dist via the hyperhive.frontend.extraFiles option in agent.nix.

Why npm + esbuild

  • Hermetic: dependencies vendored via the checked-in lockfile; buildNpmPackage in nix uses it as the source-of-truth so the output is reproducible without network access at build time.
  • esbuild: vanilla-JS bundler, no framework runtime overhead. Each workspace's build.mjs is ~30 lines.
  • Single-PR migration: see issue #273 for the design proposal and the four-commit shape (npm scaffold → nix derivations → container plumbing → Rust cutover).
