From 98c873965b25b6777c93eabb853a7df9d5e95921 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: atlas Date: Mon, 12 Oct 2026 03:03:52 +0200 Subject: [PATCH 01/10] swarm-nats-auth: a review classifier hears try-outs and answers by reply only swarm-queue-client gains review_classifier: the try-out subject, the request and reply that travel on it, and the deadlines both ends share. The controller's reader grant may publish the subject; a client named with --review-classifier-client may subscribe to it and its inbox, and answers under NATS allow_responses (resp in the user JWT) within the run deadline. It reads its queue client secret from the store at start, takes try-outs on the review classifier subject in its queue group, and for each run reads the Anthropic API key from the store, builds the shared context (commits with full messages, diff with lockfiles collapsed), runs one claude --print per classification with no session, no tools, no MCP server and the key in the child's environment only, validates the JSON answer and aggregates the rows. A missing key or a run where no classification got an answer fails the run; one failed classification is an excluded row with its error. One journal line per run names the operator, repo, PR, head SHA, rows and overall verdict. swarm-secret-client gains the two paths the service reads. --- Cargo.lock | 17 + Cargo.toml | 1 + swarm-review-classifier/Cargo.toml | 29 ++ swarm-review-classifier/README.md | 32 ++ swarm-review-classifier/src/aggregate.rs | 159 +++++++++ swarm-review-classifier/src/answer.rs | 134 ++++++++ swarm-review-classifier/src/main.rs | 161 +++++++++ swarm-review-classifier/src/prompt.rs | 277 +++++++++++++++ swarm-review-classifier/src/run.rs | 341 +++++++++++++++++++ swarm-secret-client/src/lib.rs | 4 +- swarm-secret-client/src/review_classifier.rs | 81 +++++ 11 files changed, 1235 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) create mode 100644 swarm-review-classifier/Cargo.toml create mode 100644 swarm-review-classifier/README.md create mode 100644 swarm-review-classifier/src/aggregate.rs create mode 100644 swarm-review-classifier/src/answer.rs create mode 100644 swarm-review-classifier/src/main.rs create mode 100644 swarm-review-classifier/src/prompt.rs create mode 100644 swarm-review-classifier/src/run.rs create mode 100644 swarm-secret-client/src/review_classifier.rs diff --git a/Cargo.lock b/Cargo.lock index e7d1b608..6edeb727 100644 --- a/Cargo.lock +++ b/Cargo.lock @@ -4931,6 +4931,23 @@ dependencies = [ "utoipa", ] +[[package]] +name = "swarm-review-classifier" +version = "0.1.0" +dependencies = [ + "anyhow", + "async-nats", + "futures-util", + "hive-claude", + "hive-log", + "serde", + "serde_json", + "swarm-queue-client", + "swarm-secret-client", + "tokio", + "tracing", +] + [[package]] name = "swarm-secret-client" version = "0.1.0" diff --git a/Cargo.toml b/Cargo.toml index 7f73e0ab..2271332d 100644 --- a/Cargo.toml +++ b/Cargo.toml @@ -32,6 +32,7 @@ members = [ "swarm-matrix-ctl", "swarm-nats-auth", "swarm-queue-client", + "swarm-review-classifier", "swarm-logs", "swarm-secret-client", "swarmctl", diff --git a/swarm-review-classifier/Cargo.toml b/swarm-review-classifier/Cargo.toml new file mode 100644 index 00000000..3f5ed6de --- /dev/null +++ b/swarm-review-classifier/Cargo.toml @@ -0,0 +1,29 @@ +[package] +name = "swarm-review-classifier" +version.workspace = true +readme = "README.md" +edition.workspace = true + +[[bin]] +name = "swarm-review-classifier" +path = "src/main.rs" + +[dependencies] +anyhow.workspace = true +async-nats.workspace = true +# StreamExt::next on the subscription. +futures-util.workspace = true +# One `claude --print` per classification. +hive-claude.workspace = true +hive-log.workspace = true +serde.workspace = true +serde_json.workspace = true +# The try-out subject and the shapes the controller sends and reads back. +swarm-queue-client.workspace = true +# The API key and queue client secret paths, and the store login. +swarm-secret-client.workspace = true +tokio.workspace = true +tracing.workspace = true + +[lints] +workspace = true diff --git a/swarm-review-classifier/README.md b/swarm-review-classifier/README.md new file mode 100644 index 00000000..f05eca6d --- /dev/null +++ b/swarm-review-classifier/README.md @@ -0,0 +1,32 @@ +# swarm-review-classifier + +The review classifier's try-out service, in the `swarm-review-classifier` +container on the host that sets `deploy.review-classifier.enable`. GET .../try-out/{id} reports the run as running, done (rows and overall verdict) or failed (the error). Results live in memory for an hour after the reply; there is no run store. POST then GET because a run can outlast the gateway's 60-second proxy read timeout. A host unit copies the classifier's store leaf into the container; the daemon reads its queue client secret and the API key from the store with it. - glue-bao-tls mints the review-classifier leaf; swarm-bao writes the swarm-review-classifier role, reading exactly the API key path and the classifier's queue client secret; swarm.nix reserves its CN. - glue-review-classifier-oidc-client registers the machine client where authelia runs, and the publisher carries its secret to the store. - swarm-nats passes the client id to the responder as --review-classifier-client. - Where the host runs a hive-tier collector, claude exports its metrics there; the daemon adds the repo and the PR to the resource attributes. - module-eval: the new grant and leaf (bao-grants, now sixteen granting units), the container's presence and its unit (core-toggle), and the client registration and publishing (secret-publisher). --- flake.nix | 3 + nix/host-modules/default.nix | 2 + nix/host-modules/deploy.nix | 17 ++ nix/host-modules/glue-bao-tls.nix | 9 + .../glue-review-classifier-oidc-client.nix | 35 +++ nix/host-modules/swarm-bao.nix | 55 +++++ nix/host-modules/swarm-nats.nix | 2 + nix/host-modules/swarm-review-classifier.nix | 220 ++++++++++++++++++ nix/host-modules/swarm-secret-publisher.nix | 2 + nix/host-modules/swarm.nix | 1 + nix/module-eval/bao-grants.nix | 45 +++- nix/module-eval/core-toggle.nix | 32 +++ nix/module-eval/secret-publisher.nix | 16 ++ nix/packages/default.nix | 4 + 14 files changed, 435 insertions(+), 8 deletions(-) create mode 100644 nix/host-modules/glue-review-classifier-oidc-client.nix create mode 100644 nix/host-modules/swarm-review-classifier.nix diff --git a/flake.nix b/flake.nix index 69807366..974055dc 100644 --- a/flake.nix +++ b/flake.nix @@ -160,6 +160,9 @@ services.hyperhive.deploy.matrix.ctlPackage = lib.mkDefault self.packages.${pkgs.stdenv.hostPlatform.system}.swarm-matrix-ctl; + services.hyperhive.deploy.review-classifier.package = + lib.mkDefault + self.packages.${pkgs.stdenv.hostPlatform.system}.swarm-review-classifier; services.hyperhive.deploy.authelia.bridgePackage = lib.mkDefault self.packages.${pkgs.stdenv.hostPlatform.system}.swarm-authelia-bridge; diff --git a/nix/host-modules/default.nix b/nix/host-modules/default.nix index 2a6b737f..4960a1e7 100644 --- a/nix/host-modules/default.nix +++ b/nix/host-modules/default.nix @@ -39,6 +39,7 @@ ./glue-nats-bao-identity.nix ./glue-nats-oidc-client.nix ./glue-queue-agent-credential.nix + ./glue-review-classifier-oidc-client.nix ./glue-secret-publisher-bao-identity.nix ./glue-swarm-bao-otel-oidc-client.nix ./glue-swarm-otel-oidc-client.nix @@ -47,6 +48,7 @@ ./swarm-bao-service.nix ./swarm-bao.nix ./swarm-ci-runner.nix + ./swarm-review-classifier.nix ./swarm-secret-publisher.nix ./swarm-nats-service.nix ./swarm-nats.nix diff --git a/nix/host-modules/deploy.nix b/nix/host-modules/deploy.nix index 1ae2abbc..5fec12f1 100644 --- a/nix/host-modules/deploy.nix +++ b/nix/host-modules/deploy.nix @@ -642,6 +642,23 @@ in ''; }; + review-classifier.enable = lib.mkOption { + type = lib.types.bool; + default = false; + example = true; + description = '' + Run the review classifier in a `swarm-review-classifier` container on + this host. It reads under the leaf it holds, so it renews only while that leaf is valid | -| `swarm/agents//queue` | `swarm-controller`, at agent creation | `hive-agent` in the agent container, under the agent's own certificate, held in memory — the identity it presents to the swarm queue, naming that one agent rather than its hive | ✅ `swarm-controller`'s five-minute pass re-mints a live agent's secret once it's 45 days old by `minted_at` on the stored object; a secret with no `minted_at` gets one stamped, value unchanged. The pass skips agents declared `Destroyed` — declaring an agent destroyed deletes every version of the path instead, the undo of the mint rather than another one | ✅ `hive-agent` reads the path before its first connect and again on every reconnect attempt, so a reconnect after a re-mint presents the new secret. An open connection keeps the secret it connected with; after a revocation the agent keeps retrying under the queue client's backoff | -| `swarm/agents//forge-token` | `swarm-controller`, at agent creation and in a pass every 5 minutes over every agent with a store identity | the agent container itself, under its own certificate, fetched to `/run/hive-agent-forge-token/token` | ✅ the controller re-mints when the stored token is missing or no longer matches the forge (last eight characters and scopes) | ✅ the agent re-fetches on a 10-minute timer | -| `swarm/agents//forge/
