9adf074504 feat(#2304): set weston VNC default resolution to 720p (1280x720)
Add [output] section to weston.ini with name=VNC-1 mode=1280x720.
The VNC backend's output is named VNC-1; the mode string sets the
compositor's framebuffer size that clients connect to.

14ae7367cd fix(systemd): set explicit SyslogIdentifier on hyperhive-declared units
Follow-up to the harness fix: any unit whose ExecStart is a generated
wrapper (a NixOS `script =` block or a writeShellScript) gets its journal
SyslogIdentifier derived from the wrapper's store-path basename — an
opaque, unstable name. Pin an explicit stable identifier on every unit
hyperhive declares.

script/wrapper units (leaked store paths): forgejo-gpg-init,
hive-gateway-self-signed-cert, hive-tls-ca, hive-ci-prefetch,
hyperhive-isolated-dns, tea-login, forge-avatar-sync,
matrix-avatar-sync, hive-dashboard-links.

direct-binary units (basename already sane; explicit for tidiness +
future-proofing): hive-c0re, hive-priv, hive-matrix-daemon,
hive-bash-daemon, weston.

Only changes the displayed line identifier; journalctl -u <unit>
filtering (keys on _SYSTEMD_UNIT) is unaffected.

188f3ea5ec chore: scrub #NNN issue references from code comments and nix descriptions
Part of the docs-migration chore (issue #708). Remove GitHub issue
numbers from inline comments, option descriptions, and rustdoc —
these are contextless noise for anyone reading the code without
access to the original discussions. Replace with prose that captures
the same rationale directly.

No functional change. Build still clean (cargo check passes).

cce85a6c1b fix(#540): use systemd.globalEnvironment instead of environment.variables
environment.variables writes to /etc/environment (PAM sessions only)
and is not visible to systemd service units. The correct path for
env vars that need to reach all systemd services is
systemd.globalEnvironment (sets DefaultEnvironment in systemd.conf),
which is the pattern established by #608 for HYPERHIVE_STATE_DIR.

Also update the inline comment reference from environment.variables
to systemd.globalEnvironment.

8a97277f20 fix(#540): pin weston socket + inject WAYLAND_DISPLAY globally
Services started by systemd in a gui-enabled container didn't have
WAYLAND_DISPLAY set, so Wayland clients couldn't find the compositor.
libwayland would fall back to a headless display or error out, leaving
apps running invisibly while the VNC session showed a blank weston
desktop (the double-screen problem).

Fix in weston-vnc.nix:
- Pass --socket=wayland-0 to weston so the socket name is
deterministic (weston normally picks any free wayland-N name).
- Set WAYLAND_DISPLAY=wayland-0 and XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/run/user/0 as
global environment.variables gated on hyperhive.gui.enable, so
every service in the container inherits them automatically.
- Update gui.json to include wayland_display for tooling that reads it.

Update docs/gotchas.md with the rationale and pointer to #540.

c7360cf0bb docs(#727): split docs/web-ui.md into shape / dashboard / agent
docs/web-ui.md (1315 lines) split into three sub-files:
- docs/web-ui/shape.md — shared SPA skeleton, SSE multiplexing,
Worker-death self-heal, terminal pane, listener bind, relative
  paths, atomic repaint, side panel
- docs/web-ui/dashboard.md — SW4RM/Y3R/SYST3M/SCH3DUL3S/S3TT1NGS
tabs, container row, topology tree, selection bar, approval card,
  dashboard endpoints + event channel
- docs/web-ui/agent.md — header, terminal, composer, inbox, live
view, slash commands, per-agent endpoints, stats page

docs/web-ui.md replaced with a thin index linking all three.

Section anchors in docs (gateway.md, gotchas.md), Rust doc comments
(hive-ag3nt/src/web_ui.rs), and nix/templates/weston-vnc.nix updated
to point at the correct sub-file. README and CLAUDE.md file-map
updated with sub-file links. Inline // comments in frontend source
left unchanged (they reference the index which redirects to the right
sub-file).

db2a48cde6 docs/gotchas.md: extract nix/{assets,docs,templates/weston-vnc} prose (#718 batch 3)
- assets.nix: cargo-cache-invalidation rationale → "Split asset
derivations away from the rust workspace" section.
- templates/weston-vnc.nix: port allocation, weston bind-address
quirk, PAM service name, Type=simple choice, idle-time=0 →
"Weston VNC compositor (per-agent hyperhive.gui.enable)" section.
- docs/default.nix: rendering pipeline + subtree-pick + output-tree
history → "Nix options reference" section.

In-code comments trimmed to short purpose statements + docs pointers.
description = '' blocks (operator-facing options docs) preserved per
iris #718.

`nix flake check` + `nix build .#docs` clean.

dd32774e86 weston-vnc: disable idle blank + lock screen (idle-time=0)
The VNC desktop faded to black after weston's default 300s idle
timeout, and on wake desktop-shell showed its click-to-unlock lock
screen (a green circle) — pointless for an agent desktop viewed
over /screen, and confusing for the operator (issue #180).

Add [core] idle-time=0 to the generated weston.ini. Verified against
weston 14.0.1: idle-time parses to compositor->idle_time, and
weston_compositor_wake arms the idle timer with idle_time*1000 ms;
0 ms makes wl_event_source_timer_update disarm the timer, so the
compositor never transitions to IDLE and desktop-shell never locks.

closes #180

e50173f3e1 weston-vnc: fix PAM service name (weston-remote-access, not weston)
weston calls pam_start("weston-remote-access", ...) in libweston/auth.c.
The previous security.pam.services.weston entry created /etc/pam.d/weston
which was never consulted, so PAM fell back to the system default and
rejected all credentials. Renaming to weston-remote-access makes
pam_permit.so actually take effect.

29df223650 fix weston-vnc: use /etc/hostname instead of hostname binary, disable TLS
- Replace ${pkgs.coreutils}/bin/hostname with cat /etc/hostname:
hostname binary is in pkgs.inetutils, not pkgs.coreutils; /etc/hostname
is always present in NixOS containers and is simpler.
- Add --disable-transport-layer-security: weston VNC requires TLS certs
by default; since VNC is loopback-only (relayed by the harness WS proxy)
TLS adds no security benefit and cert generation adds complexity.

37522fd629 nix: replace weston RDP backend with VNC, add hyperhive.gui.enable option
Removes weston-rdp.nix (hyperhive.westonRdp.enable) and adds
weston-vnc.nix (hyperhive.gui.enable).

The ExecStart wrapper script computes a deterministic VNC port via
FNV-1a hash of the agent name (derived from hostname, same algorithm
as lifecycle::agent_web_port) in the range [15900, 16799], then writes
/etc/hyperhive/gui.json {"vnc_port": N, "auth": "none"} for the
harness WebSocket relay (issue #51), and execs weston with the VNC
backend + pixman renderer.

Type=simple so it can never abort nixos-container update; a
misconfigured weston degrades to a restart loop, not a blocked rebuild.

Closes #50
