d77f81cd1e hive-c0re: push HelperEvent::Spawned as a todo, not a broker message
Follow-up from #2955 (mara: 'make core able to give agent a todo').
First migration slice: Spawned was pure FYI-check-when-convenient
material, not something needing an immediate turn.

Coordinator::push_todo/push_todo_submitter do a best-effort live dial
of the target agent's own hive-agent-sock (hive_host_sock::agent_todo_
socket), sending the exact UpsertTodo request in-container producers
(matrix/bash/forge-notify) already send. Push, not queue: agent
offline (socket absent) or dial failure is a silent no-op, no retry,
no fallback delivery -- matches mara's 'not available if offline'
call exactly.

HelperEvent::Spawned removed entirely (enum variant + all 3 call
sites migrated: handle_spawn's two arms, finish_approval's Spawn
approval-kind arm) rather than kept alongside a translation layer --
per mara's correction on the first design attempt, migrating the
producer means deleting the old path, not bridging it.

Verified: cargo build/clippy/test -p hive-c0re -p hive-host-sock
-p hive-sh4re clean (318 tests), nix fmt clean.

a8728ac532 job_queue: move the jobs wire types to hive-host-sock
The DagView / NodeView / Source / State / PermPayload types only ever
travel on the host admin socket and the dashboard channels hive-c0re
serves off the same snapshot; their whole consumer set is hive-c0re,
hivectl and the socket protocol crate itself. Living in hive-sh4re made
the five other crates that depend on it carry job-queue types they never
name.

Pure move: git mv of the module plus the import sweep, no type changes.
hive-sh4re keeps its own chrono (wire_time still needs it).

31008c83df feat: pause an agent's turn loop without stopping its container
A paused agent keeps its container, its claude session and its
dashboard/todo servers up, but stops driving turns. Messages queue
unacked and are drained on resume.

The whole protocol is a single marker file, `<harness>/paused`. That
directory is already a bind-mount shared between host and container, so
both sides just stat the same path: the harness reads it to decide
whether to drive a turn, hive-c0re reads it to render the badge and
writes/removes it for `hivectl pause|resume`. No new wire protocol, no
container round-trip, and it is sticky across restarts by construction.

Not calling `recv_next` while paused *is* the queueing semantic, so
there is no fencing to get wrong: reminders buffer in their unbounded
channel, the todo `Notify` permit coalesces, and a `request_next_turn`
that raced the pause survives because the gate sits above
`self_continue.take()`.

Graceful stop is handled host-side rather than in the harness: a paused
agent provably has no turn in flight, so `run_signal` skips the fence
entirely instead of eating the full `GRACEFUL_STOP_TIMEOUT` waiting for
a checkpoint turn that will never run.

`paused` is reported on `ContainerView` / `AgentStatusRow` for the
dashboard, orthogonal to `running` and reported for stopped containers
too.

Closes: hyperhive/hyperhive issue 2271

e0461e1af6 refactor(#2431): extract hive-priv-sock crate from hive-sh4re
Split the priv-socket wire types (PrivRequest/PrivResponse/PrivEvent and
friends) out of hive-sh4re into their own hive-priv-sock crate, mirroring
the existing hive-host-sock split. hive-priv — the root-privileged
helper — now depends on just this narrow protocol crate instead of the
much larger daemon-shared crate, shrinking its dependency surface and
making the privsep boundary easier to audit. No server/client
implementation lives here, only the wire contract; hive-c0re still
depends on hive-sh4re directly for everything else.

d5a81f9195 feat(#2377): forge-webhook-triggered config-PR merge flow
Replace the request_merge_config_pr MCP tool with a Forgejo
pull_request webhook on the agent-configs org. Agents now open a
config PR normally; hive-c0re auto-queues the MergeConfigPr approval
from the webhook event — no extra tool call needed.

Changes:
- dashboard/webhook.rs: add POST /webhook/config-pr handler
  - parses Forgejo pull_request payload (opened/synchronize)
  - strips agent-configs/<agent> prefix to extract agent name
  - calls submit_merge_config_pr → queues dashboard approval card
  - always 200 to prevent Forgejo retries; errors logged at warn
- dashboard/mod.rs: wire /webhook/config-pr route
- forge/mod.rs: add ensure_config_pr_webhook() — idempotent org-level
  hook registration on agent-configs at startup; CONFIG_ORG now
  pub(crate) for webhook handler
- main.rs: call ensure_config_pr_webhook alongside knowledge webhook
- socket_server/config_approvals.rs: drop handle_request_merge_config_pr;
  make submit_merge_config_pr pub(crate) for webhook handler
- socket_server/mod.rs: re-export submit_merge_config_pr; drop dispatch arm
- hive-sh4re/src/lib.rs: remove AgentRequest::RequestMergeConfigPr
  wire type; drop from ToolGroup::Approvals tool list
- hive-ag3nt/src/mcp/: drop request_merge_config_pr tool + args struct
- docs: update approvals.md (webhook trigger), conventions.md (tool
  group), agent-hierarchy.md, tools/lifecycle.md

Hardening from #2375-merge-config-pr-hardening branch preserved:
- pr_is_open check at queue time (rejects closed/merged PRs)
- atomic fetched_sha INSERT via submit_kind(fetched_sha: Some(&sha))

Approve-handler machinery unchanged (run_merge_config_pr,
ff_push_to_main, fetch_pr_head_into_applied, mark_pr_merged).

97edd6baac feat(#2346): request_merge_config_pr — submission path for the PR-based config flow
MergeConfigPr approvals had a fully-implemented approve handler
(run_merge_config_pr, ff_push_to_main, mark_pr_merged) and dashboard
display, but no way to submit one. An agent with the `approvals` tool
group calling request_merge_config_pr(agent, pr_number) is the missing
piece.

What this adds:
- RequestMergeConfigPr variant in hive-sh4re AgentRequest + ToolGroup::Approvals
- submit_merge_config_pr: fetches PR head sha (the drift-gate reviewed sha),
  queues a MergeConfigPr row, sets fetched_sha, emits approval_added with
  pr_number so the dashboard card links to the forge PR
- handle_request_merge_config_pr: topology (require_descendant) +
  tool-group (require_group(approvals)) guards before submit
- socket_server/mod.rs: dispatch arm for RequestMergeConfigPr
- hive-ag3nt MCP tool: request_merge_config_pr with full description
- docs/tools/lifecycle.md: documents the new tool + boundary table row

Unlike submit_apply_commit, no flake pre-flight at submission time (eval-
verify happens at approval time inside run_merge_config_pr, same as the
rest of the merge pipeline). Applied repo must already exist (guard added
with a clear error message pointing at request_apply_commit for first-spawn).

b489454dc2 feat(hivectl): queue-routed lifecycle verbs with wait + DAG progress
every agent lifecycle verb on the admin socket (rebuild / restart /
restart-all / kill / stop / start) now submits job-queue DAGs and
returns their ids; hivectl polls the new HostRequest::QueueDag and
prints a live node-chain progress line per DAG (fan-out children
included), exiting non-zero on failure — --no-wait opts out. DagView
and the queue wire enums move to hive_sh4re::jobs (wire types live in
the shared crate); the last fused rebuild path (lifecycle::rebuild)
is gone. tracker: #2166

2bfa5bc1a8 feat(schedules): make schedules pausable
Adds pause/resume support for scheduled prompts.

Backend:
- New paused_at_unix column on scheduled_prompts table (added via
  ALTER TABLE migration so existing databases are upgraded on first
  start). The due-rows index is dropped and recreated to also exclude
  paused rows so the worker never fires them while paused.
- Worker's due() query gains AND paused_at_unix IS NULL filter.
- New pause(id) and resume(id) methods on ScheduledPrompts; both are
  idempotent and refuse cancelled rows.
- New POST /api/schedules/{id}/pause and /api/schedules/{id}/resume
  dashboard endpoints (operator-direct, no approval gate). Both emit
  a schedules snapshot on success so the tab updates live.
- WireSchedule gains paused_at_unix: Option<i64> so the frontend can
  render the state without an extra fetch.

Frontend:
- Paused rows render with a distinct row class + muted opacity.
- The next-fire cell shows a yellow pause glyph + tooltip with the
  paused-since timestamp and the would-have-fired time.
- Actions column: pause/resume toggle button (⏸/▶) beside fire/edit/cancel.
  Fire-now is disabled while paused (resume first).
- Sort order: active → paused → cancelled (paused slot keeps schedules
  visible without mixing them into the active top section).
- pauseSchedule() / resumeSchedule() async functions POST to the new
  endpoints and refresh the table on success.

72d9422a7a feat(#1897): auto-fill the hive domain in peer-config (drop required --domain)
Per operator review: hivectl shouldn't make the operator retype this
hive's own domain. Add a HostRequest::HiveDomain admin-socket query
(c0re answers from HYPERHIVE_HIVE_DOMAIN, already in its service env) and
a domain field on HostResponse.

hivectl peer-config now resolves the domain as: --domain override (kept
for offline/scripted use), else the daemon query; errors with a clear
hint when neither resolves. wg init resolves it best-effort too, so it
prints the hand-over peer-config block without --domain (skipped, not
failed, when the daemon is unreachable).

Regenerated docs/tools/hivectl-cli.md.

f1d54ce12c agent surface: create_repo through hive-c0re (#1787)
Closes the #1787 loop — the sanctioned create path now that agents
can't create repos directly. Adds:

- wire: Request::CreateRepo{repo} + Response::RepoCreated{full_name,
  clone_url} (hive-sh4re).
- agent_server: dispatch_shared arm + handle_create_repo — validates the
  repo name, then forge::create_agent_repo (org-owned repo, agent=write
  collaborator, operator-team branch protection). Returns the full name
  + clone url so the agent can git clone immediately.
- MCP: create_repo tool + CreateRepoArgs in the harness.
- a new opt-in ToolGroup::Forge (=[create_repo]) so the operator
  controls which agents can spin up repos (least privilege).

Workspace clippy -D warnings, cargo test, nix fmt all green.

b70209836e hive-sh4re: lift TaskFile + TaskStatus from hive-bash-mcp
Move the bash-task on-disk schema (TaskFile + TaskStatus) into hive-sh4re,
the shared wire-types crate, and re-export them from hive-bash-mcp::protocol
so existing in-crate imports keep compiling. This gives hive-ag3nt's agent
web UI a canonical type to deserialize when reading the bash-tasks dir for a
running-tasks panel, instead of a parallel struct that would silently drift
from the daemon's persisted format. Both crates already depend on hive-sh4re,
so no new dependency edges.

fbb48ed3ce hivectl: add hive-wide start/stop verbs
`hivectl stop` brings the whole hive down in one operator action — all
sub-agents plus the ci/forge/gateway/matrix infra containers — and
`hivectl start` brings it back up. Scope flags (--agents, --agent <name>,
--ci, --forge, --gateway, --matrix) narrow the set; a bare invocation
targets everything. hive-c0re never stops itself.

- hive-sh4re: HostRequest::{Stop,Start} + LifecycleScope wire type;
  priv_proto InfraAction + ControlInfraContainer + the
  CONTROLLABLE_INFRA_CONTAINERS allowlist (adds hive-matrix, excludes
  hive-c0re).
- hive-priv: control_infra_container handler (systemctl <verb>
  container@<name>, allowlist-validated root-side).
- hive-c0re: handle_stop / handle_start fan out agents via lifecycle and
  infra via hive-priv; per-target failures are aggregated. Infra
  systemctl routes through hive-priv (the privsep boundary).
- The --graceful flag is threaded through Stop now; the per-agent quiesce
  itself lands with the graceful-agent-stop work.
