b25aa157df swarm-ui: give Panel an optional header icon slot
Adds an `icon` prop to Panel (small emoji glyph left of the title,
aria-hidden, chosen per panel with no default) and wires it into every
current Panel caller: hives (bee), create-agent's form (robot) and info
panel (identity card, moved off the info panel's body copy where it
started as a one-off), jobs (puzzle piece), the components gallery
itself (toolbox), and the 404 page (compass). Adds a components-page
demo section and a whimsy-section pointer in the design guide.

Closes: #3508

1207a0e282 swarm-ui: create-agent layout fills the page width, centered
mara: the two cards were neither centered nor filling the space in
two-column mode. Dropped the page's own max-width entirely — Panel
already has no width opinion, and once both cards are equal-width
flex children there's no reason for an extra cap between them and
.shell-body's own 60em/centered column. Removed the now-pointless
wrapper div along with it.

Checked centered + filling behaviour at both a normal (1200px) and an
ultra-wide (1600px) viewport, and narrow-viewport stacking still
works.

3b339b2232 swarm-ui: equal-width create-agent cards, full-width inputs
mara's follow-up: both cards should be the same size (flex: 1 1 0
instead of the form keeping its own narrower basis), and the form's
inputs should fill the card rather than stopping at their old 16em
cap. Dropped that cap from the shared form kit (.ui-form-control /
.ui-form-field) entirely rather than overriding it per-page — the kit
itself has no width opinion now, same as Panel already has none; a
page that wants a narrower field caps its layout, not the kit.

Checked ComponentsPage's standalone samples (no regression, just
wider) and narrow-viewport stacking (still moves the explanation
under the form).

f30897b44e swarm-ui: create-agent info panel reads as the finished flow
mara's review: the info-panel copy should describe the intended end
state (a running agent on the chosen hive), not narrate today's
partial implementation (deploy isn't wired up server-side yet — noted
in this file's existing top comment for maintainers, kept separate
from the user-facing copy).

fc65811d9f swarm-ui: fill create-agent's empty column with an explanatory panel
mara's follow-up on the field-alignment fix: narrowing the form panel
left a lot of bare space next to it, and asked for something that
fills it while helping a new user understand what the page does.

Adds a second panel beside the form (stacks under it on a narrow
viewport) explaining the job chain '/api/agents' actually queues:
an authelia identity, then a forge config repo — no container exists
yet after this page, and deploying one onto the chosen hive is a
separate step that isn't wired up server-side.

f14fc154cc swarm-ui: fix create-agent form field alignment and panel width
TextField and SelectField's shared FormField wrapper had no width of
its own, so inside the form's shrink-to-fit flex column each field's
input/select resolved its 'width: 100%' against its own shrunk
wrapper rather than a shared column width — two fields with
differently-long labels ended up with differently-wide controls.
FormField now caps its own width the same way the control already
does, so every field in a form lines up regardless of label length.

Also wrapped the page in a max-width container: Panel has no width
opinion of its own, so it filled the full page column, leaving a lot
of bare panel to the right of the ~16em-wide form.

fc44891ab5 swarm-ui: compact refresh-interval picker, moved into the panel header
Per mara's review on this PR: the labelled SelectField-based picker
read as way too heavy for a passive-until-touched setting - a full
label+bordered-control form field row above the table. Replace it with
a compact inline "clock icon - value - chevron" control (a native
<select> still drives the interaction, just stripped of SelectField/
FormField's chrome), quiet until hovered/focused the same way
LinksMenu's header button is.

Also move it out of the panel body entirely: Panel gains an `actions`
slot in its title row (right-aligned via margin-left: auto), so the
picker sits next to the "hives" heading instead of taking its own row
and pushing the table down - per the design guide's own "a control
belongs next to the thing it affects" rule.

Verified with headless chromium screenshots (full page + a tight
close-up crop) against the built bundle: the picker now reads as
"(clock) 30s (chevron)" inline with the panel title, no extra vertical
space taken from the table. Added a Panel "with actions" demo to
ComponentsPage.

e270ba309b swarm-ui: shared refresh-interval polling control
Closes #3446.

New ui/refresh-interval/RefreshInterval — a RefreshIntervalPicker
(off/10s/30s/1m preset select) plus a useRefreshInterval hook that
polls on that cadence, pausing while the document is hidden and
resyncing immediately on becoming visible again (same pattern
RelativeTime already uses). The hook keeps the caller's onTick fresh
via a ref rather than an effect dependency, so a new closure each
render doesn't re-arm the timer.

HivesPage wires it in: defaults to 30s (no inputs on this page to
interrupt, and the point of the feature is not needing a manual
reload), replacing the old fetch-once-at-mount effect. A successful
refresh also clears any previous fetch error instead of leaving a
stale failure on screen after the data's recovered.

Verified: tsc clean, build succeeds, screenshotted the hives page
(auto-loads on mount, picker defaults to 30s) and the components page
demo.

a5ef31ed8b swarm-ui: self-updating RelativeTime component
Closes #3445.

New ui/relative-time/RelativeTime — takes a UTC epoch-ms instant, not
a precomputed age, and re-renders itself on a 1s interval so a tab
left open doesn't silently show a frozen 'fresh (5s ago)' hours
later. Pauses while the document is hidden, resyncs immediately on
becoming visible again.

StatusChip's label widened from string to ComponentChildren so a
chip can embed the live ticker (a plain string couldn't carry it).
HivesPage's freshness column now derives the age from last_seen_unix
client-side via RelativeTime instead of rendering the once-computed
age_seconds from the API response.

Verified: tsc clean, build succeeds, screenshotted the components
page (ticking observed advancing within one virtual-time-budget
window) and the hives page (fresh/stale/never-reported all render
correctly).

537d6f9dac swarm-ui: rename OverviewPage/'overview' to HivesPage/'hives'
Closes #3460.

Renamed for accuracy — the page/nav item is the hive roster, not a
general dashboard overview. Nav label, page title, component name,
and file all renamed together so the internal name doesn't drift from
what's displayed (a component still called OverviewPage under a
'hives' nav label would be exactly the kind of stale prior-art that
makes the next contributor search harder, not less).

5fdbf0b452 swarm-ui: add required hive dropdown to CreateAgentPage
Closes #3434.

Agent creation had no way to record which hive an agent runs on.
POST /api/agents now requires a hive, so the roster fetched off
GET /api/hives backs a required SelectField here rather than a
free-text field. Single-hive swarms auto-select their only hive;
multi-hive swarms show a disabled placeholder and force an explicit
choice.

Rebuilt on top of the #3448 form kit (merged after this branch was
originally opened): reuses TextField/SelectField/Button instead of
page-scoped input chrome, and SelectField gains an optional disabled
placeholder option (needed for the loading/empty/multi-hive states
here, generalizes cleanly for future callers). Form goes back to a
column layout per mara's earlier visual feedback on this same page
(two fields of different natural width no longer line up in a row).

ba873926fa swarm-ui: shared form-field kit (TextField, SelectField, Button)
Closes #3448.

New ui/ primitives: FormField (shared label+control wrapper),
TextField, SelectField, Button — each with a min-height touch target
(2.75em ~= 44px, WCAG 2.5.5) per mara's #3447 ask, and a max-width
instead of a fixed width so the control caps on desktop without
overflowing a narrow/touch viewport.

CreateAgentPage's name field + submit button now come from the kit
instead of page-scoped CSS; ComponentsPage gets a section for each new
primitive with an editable sample.

e71e4ef432 swarm-ui: escape the hyphen in create-agent's name pattern
Closes #3423.

Modern browsers validate an <input pattern> attribute's regex in
Unicode-set ('v') mode, which is stricter about hyphen placement than
classic mode: `[a-z0-9-]` throws "Invalid character class" under 'v'
mode even though a trailing hyphen is unambiguous (and valid) in classic
regex. Reproduced directly: `new RegExp('[a-z0-9-]', 'v')` throws,
`new RegExp('[a-z0-9\\-]', 'v')` doesn't. Escaping the hyphen fixes it
without changing what the pattern matches.

f60aab4717 frontend: shared ApiErrorPanel component, promote readApiError from credentials.js
Closes #3410.

`ApiErrorPanel` renders a ProblemDetails (RFC 9457) error nicely, with a
copy button so the full text can be pasted straight into a bug report.
No truncation of `detail` — on the #3363 incident that motivated this
issue, that string was the entire diagnosis.

`readApiError`/`problemMessage`/`ProblemDetails` are promoted out of
credentials.js's original `readErrorBody` into `@hive/shared/api-error.js`
(comment rewritten: the RFC 9457 rework has already landed everywhere
except swarm-controller's status route, #3412 in flight, so the raw-text
fallback is a compat shim for that one gap, not a general transition).
credentials.js's 4 call sites switch to the shared reader (kept as
one-line messages there, its result slots are single-line aria-live
regions, not a panel context).

Wired ApiErrorPanel into OverviewPage.tsx (the issue's own worked
example) and CreateAgentPage.tsx (second real call site).

Not built on <hive-warn> despite matching its visual language — that
custom element's CSS-as-text import only works under a build with
loader: 'text' for .css (dashboard's), and silently renders unstyled
under swarm-ui's default css loader (filed separately as #3415).
ApiErrorPanel is a self-contained light-DOM component instead, per
mara's own suggestion to keep it independent of the old UI's shapes.

47e89c1c93 swarm-ui: move create-agent page off /agents, rename to CreateAgentPage
mara: the route should reflect creating an agent, and stay separate
from a future agent list page. Renamed AgentsPage -> CreateAgentPage
(file, component, css classes) and moved the route from /agents to
/create-agent - flat, not /agents/new, since index.html's relative
asset links only resolve correctly one path segment deep (filed
separately as a real bug, not fixed here). Leaves the bare /agents
path free for a future roster page.

d044281040 swarm-ui: minimal agent creation page
Adds /agents: a name field that POSTs to swarm-controller's
POST /api/agents (from the CreateIdentity work), shows the queued
job node id, and links to /jobs to watch it settle. Scope matches
the issue exactly - no forge/deploy options, those aren't wired
server-side yet.

1111577c91 extract build-queue rollup as a shared Preact component
New @hive/shared/jobq-rollup.js (JobqRollup.tsx + jobq-rollup.css),
mirroring JobqGraph's shape exactly: JSX use plus an imperative
mountJobqRollup(container, props) for a plain-.js call site. Fetches
Vec<hive_jobq_wire::StateCount> off `endpoint`, sums Running+Finishing
roots as "running" and Pending roots as "queued", renders nothing when
both are zero. Optional `queueHref` adds a "view queue -> " link.

Swapped dashboard's hand-rolled queue-summary banner (swarm.js) over to
this component instead of keeping two parallel implementations - same
"one shared component" pattern JobqGraph already set for the rebuild
queue tree view. Mounted once into a new #jobq-rollup-section, kept as
a sibling of (not inside) #containers-section since that section gets
replaceChildren()-wiped on every container-state render, which would
tear down and remount a Preact tree on every tick. Refreshed via the
mount handle's .refresh() on rebuild_queue_changed, same as builds.js's
JobqGraph handle.

Also mounted in swarm-ui's /jobs page, above JobqGraph, with no
queueHref (a link back to the page you're already on is noise) - the
literal ask on hyperhive#3364.

Verified: npm run build (whole workspace) and swarm-ui typecheck both
clean, comment-block + issue-ref lints run manually, headless-chromium
screenshots of both the dashboard SW4RM tab and swarm-ui's /jobs page
against mocked /api/jobq/rollup payloads - banner renders identically
in both, with and without the queue link as expected.

9786a9a519 swarm-ui: extract overview into its own page component
Per mara's review on PR#3342 — the hive-status view shouldn't live
inline in App.tsx. Moves it to pages/OverviewPage.tsx, mirroring
JobsPage's shape: App.tsx stays routing-only, each page owns its own
fetch + render.

b4b4967ec9 address review: trim JobqGraph.tsx's comment under 30 lines, fix stale .jsx ref
Both introduced by this PR's own JSX->TSX conversion, caught by argus:
the top-of-file comment grew to 42 lines converting it, and JobsPage.css
still pointed at 'JobqGraph.jsx's own comment' after the rename.

527ed8f3e2 swarm-ui: add a jobs tab, and type JobqGraph as real TypeScript
New /jobs route in swarm-ui, reusing the shared JobqGraph component
against swarm-controller's own GET /api/jobq/graph (same wire shape
hive-c0re's dashboard already consumes, different endpoint, no fork).

Converted JobqGraph.jsx to JobqGraph.tsx with real prop/wire types
(mirrors hive_jobq_wire's GraphNode/GraphDep/State by hand) instead of
a hand-maintained ambient .d.ts at the swarm-ui consumer side — the
.d.ts would duplicate the prop list and drift from the source the
moment the component's signature changes without the declaration being
touched. Both dashboard (untyped consumer, esbuild strips types) and
swarm-ui (tsc --noEmit) build/typecheck clean off the one file.

cfc8f2b22c swarm-ui: add a components-library page (hyperhive#3288)
New /components route showing every ui primitive (Panel, StatusChip,
Table) in each mode it supports: Panel with/without a title,
StatusChip's four tones, Table populated and empty. Sample data only,
no API calls, so it renders identically regardless of backend state.
Linked from the Shell nav next to "overview".

Verified with npm run build + npm run typecheck, and a headless
chromium screenshot of the built dist.
