Every hive-labelled series in the store also carries an agent label, so a
hive is only ever visible as the sum of its agents — and a hive whose c0re
has stopped is indistinguishable from one that simply hosts none.
Adds three instruments to the exporter hive-c0re already runs, each a
projection of a value the process computes anyway: process.uptime (the
semconv name — the spec defines it as a double gauge in seconds, which is
exactly this instrument), hyperhive.hive.degraded, and
hyperhive.hive.warnings split by level. None carries an agent attribute;
that absence is what makes them selectable as hive-scoped.
The health pair reads warnings::readiness() rather than deriving its own
verdict, and degraded ships as a series instead of being left for a
dashboard query to compute from warnings{level="crit"} — either would put
the "what counts as unhealthy" rule in a second place that disagrees
silently the first time a degrading condition is added.
`get_health_ready` computed "degraded iff any warning is crit" inline and
wrapped it in a private `ReadyBody`. The swarm status publisher needs the
same verdict, and the warnings module's own doc already states why it must
not compute its own: two systems independently deciding what counts as
unhealthy is how they end up disagreeing.
The disagreement would also be silent. Each side would look internally
consistent, and the day a second degraded condition is added to one of
them, the dashboard and the swarm view would report different things about
the same host with nothing to flag it.
`warnings::readiness()` is now the single producer and `Readiness` the
single type. `ReadyBody` is deleted rather than made public: the endpoint
keeps the part that genuinely is its own, the mapping onto an HTTP status
code, and serves the shared document as its body.
Adds set_boot_warning() to stats/warnings.rs: a one-shot variant of
set_warning() for steps that run once at hive-c0re boot (no periodic
retry to observe a later success and clear the banner via WarningGuard
drop). It forgets the guard, leaking it for the life of the process —
the banner clears on the next hive-c0re restart, which is also when a
config/environment fix would take effect.
Wires every remaining tracing::warn!()-and-forget site in
forge::ensure_all() to also raise a boot warning: core user/token
provisioning, per-org seeding, the operators-team grant per org, the
core/meta repo, shared docs repo, knowledge repo (+ its local clone),
both avatar uploads, and the final nixos-container list failure.
Split the core_token.is_some() body of ensure_all() into a new
ensure_all_orgs_and_repos() helper to stay under clippy's
function-length limit.
Deliberately out of scope: sync_agent() (shared with rebuild_agent(),
different blast radius) and ci_runner::ensure_ci_runner_registered()
(its own retry logic) — matrix::ensure_all() got the same slice-by-
slice treatment.
