5930efc29b Trim negative-space comments per mara's review
Don't state what a function/module doesn't do and where that
happens instead — just describe what it does. Cut the "not
something this function decides" / "not affected by this" /
"not a placeholder for a later commit" asides from the doc
comments touched in the last two commits.

907567ef76 Fix stale default-open doc comments per argus's review
ClassifyCtx's tool_use-id correlation gates markdown-vs-plain body
format for a recv result, not open/collapsed state — that's always
the operator's uniform preference now. 5 backend comments still
described it as controlling "default-open" rendering, contradicting
the actual render path and this PR's own rewritten docs.

Also fixed useAgentState.ts's stale comment promising an
SSE-triggered refresh model "in a later commit" — that's permanently
off the table now that the terminal stream's kind tag is gone by
design (argus flagged this as a drive-by, not blocking, but it's a
one-line cause-and-effect of this same PR so fixing it here).

5eefaa951d Simplify terminal message shape to a uniform TermMsg
Move terminal-row classification server-side into a new
hive-agent/src/term_msg.rs, replacing the old JSON-mutation
enrich()/stamped-field approach in stream_enrich.rs with one
uniform wire shape: {icon?, level: debug|info|warn|error, summary,
body?, body_format?: markdown|diff, coalesce_key?}. No more per-row
`kind` tag or raw claude-JSON passthrough — every row is the same
shape, with structural identity carried by icon + summary text
instead of a CSS class per row kind.

hive-agent/src/web_ui/stream.rs's history + SSE endpoints now both
call term_msg::classify() and serve TermEnvelope{ts, seq?, msgs}
frames; events that classify to zero rows (agent-state changes,
drop-noise) never reach the wire.

Frontend: classifyEvent.ts collapses from a large per-tool dispatch
tree to a thin TermMsg -> StreamRow adapter. streamRow.ts/Row.tsx
drop the now-dead meta/childText fields. terminal.css switches from
a dozen-odd per-row-kind classes to four level-based color rules.
Expand/collapse of a bodied row is now a uniform client-side
decision (the operator's preference), no server-side per-tool
override.

docs/terminal-rendering.md rewritten to match.

85ef5e5fbe hive-agent: show mark_todos_done ids in the terminal, not just a count
fmt_args_generic's generic array handling collapsed `ids: [4]` — the
count — since mark_todos_done had no dedicated match arm. Added one,
matching the file's existing per-tool pattern (extracted into its own
helper to stay under the 100-line clippy limit on fmt_hyperhive_tool).

be3411e180 feat(#3245): gate rustdoc in nix flake check, and clear the workspace
Nothing in the gate read doc-comments: clippy doesn't check intra-doc
links, cargo test doesn't, and no check built docs. So a [`Foo`] pointing
at a renamed, moved or deleted item rendered as plain text and had no
discoverer but a human happening to read the comment.

That matters here more than in most repos, because the convention is to
put a thing's authoritative description in one doc-comment and point at
it from everywhere else -- the design leans on the pointers being real,
and a dangling link is worse than no link since it names something and
sends the reader looking.

Adds `docs-rustdoc` to nix/checks.nix: craneLib.cargoDoc over
--workspace --no-deps --document-private-items, denying six rustdoc
lints. Listed explicitly rather than -D warnings so a new lint appearing
upstream cannot red the build on a class nobody has triaged.

--document-private-items is load-bearing rather than thoroughness for
its own sake: most of this workspace's doc-comments live on private
items and //! module headers, so without it rustdoc checks a small
fraction of the links and the gate sits green while the rot continues.

Then fixes every error it reports, 40 to 0 across nine crates. The
classes differ and so do the fixes:

- public item, wrong scope -> qualify. Node and Node::parent are both
  public; the link failed only because scheduler.rs does not import
  Node. Six sites become [`crate::Node::parent`].
- private item -> downgrade to backticks. Nothing was made public to
  satisfy a lint; changing API surface to appease a doc check would be
  the tail wagging the dog.
- genuinely dead -> [`JobBuilder::insert_into`] names a method that does
  not exist. Insertion is Scheduler::insert_job.
- prose that looks like markup -> argv[0] parsed as a link, and
  <args>/<hex>/<name> parsed as HTML tags.

Note for future fixes: pub(crate) resolves in an intra-doc link, a plain
private fn in a binary crate does not (wait_for_nodes resolved,
connect_hint did not, same crate, same shape).

The check does not ride the clippy/test artifact cache. It takes
cargoArtifacts, but rustdoc needs its own flavour of dependency
metadata, which cargo build does not produce, so a --no-deps docs build
still compiles dependencies it never documents. Measured at 6m47s cold;
that reasoning is recorded in the check's own comment so the next reader
does not re-derive it.

Verified by running the check's exact command against the pre-cleanup
tree first: 40 errors, build failed. A gate that cannot fail is not
evidence, and building it before the cleanup makes that proof free.

b25c44f7cb feat(#2196): move send/ask/answer body to backend _body field
The three message-bearing hyperhive tools (send, ask, answer) previously
had named JS branches in renderRichToolUse that each:
- computed a summary string (recipient / line count)
- rendered the body text via detailsOpenMd (marked + DOMPurify)

This commit moves the body text and summary string to the backend,
reducing the JS dispatch table to a single generic markdown path.

Backend (stream_enrich.rs):
- rich_tool_body: new 'markdown' body_type for send/ask/answer —
  stamps _body with input.body / input.question / input.answer
- fmt_hyperhive_message_tool: new helper formats _summary as
  'send* → to' / 'ask* → to' / 'answer* #id' with ' · NL' when
  the body spans multiple lines; extracted out of fmt_hyperhive_tool
  to keep it under the too_many_lines limit
- doc: updated rich_tool_body docstring to list the new 'markdown' type

Frontend (app.js):
- Remove the three named branches (send/ask/answer) from renderRichToolUse
- Extend the generic _body path: 'markdown' type calls detailsOpenMd
- The ask-form slot logic (operator inline-answer binding) is preserved
  within the markdown branch, now reading the question from c._body
  instead of input.question — DOM mounting remains client-side

0e4b69dd20 feat(#2196): move Write/Edit diff body to backend, drop JS branch
- fmt_builtin_tool: Edit gets its own arm computing `-N +M` line counts
  in _summary (was shared with Read/Write as bare file-path).
- is_rich_tool: drop Write (content is huge/one-sided; flat _summary row
  is correct); Edit stays rich since it has an old/new diff.
- rich_tool_body: now returns Option<(String, &'static str)> where the
  second field is the body type ('diff' or 'plain'). Edit arm builds the
  '-'/'+ ' prefixed diff body; mcp__bash__run gets type 'plain'.
- enrich_tool_use_entry: stamps both _body and _body_type.

Frontend (app.js):
- Remove the Write/Edit branch from renderRichToolUse (~25 lines).
- Generic _body path now dispatches on _body_type: 'diff' ->
  api.detailsDiff (colour-coded spans), default -> api.details.
  No tool-specific JS remains for file diff rendering.

b62652c01b feat(#2196): stamp _body on mcp__bash__run, drop tool-specific JS branch
Backend now stamps `_body` (full `$ <cmd>`) alongside `_summary` (first
line) and `_category: "rich"` for mcp__bash__run tool_use entries. The
frontend drops the mcp__bash__run-specific branch in renderRichToolUse
and uses a generic `if (c._body)` path instead — api.details() with the
backend-computed summary and body, no JS knowledge of the tool name.

0f5367f948 frontend/agent: drop JS dispatch tables, read backend _icon/_summary/_category
Phase 2 of hyperhive#2196. The backend now pre-computes enrichment fields
on every SSE event (stream_enrich.rs); the frontend reads them directly
instead of running its own dispatch logic.

Removed (~330 lines of JS):
- fmtArgsGeneric / TOOL_ICONS / toolIcon / fmtRoom / fmtUser / fmtToolUse

renderStream changes:
- system events: dispatch on v._category (drop/thinking_tok/note/details)
  + v._summary / v._body instead of per-subtype if-chains; status tick
  still overrides label client-side when stateName === 'compacting' since
  elapsed time is a wall-clock value the backend cannot know at emit time
- tool_use: use c._category === 'rich' for rich-renderer routing,
  c._icon / c._summary for flat rows

renderRichToolUse: toolIcon(name) -> c._icon (from backend enrichment)

stream_enrich.rs: also stamp _category: 'drop' on top-level
type=result / type=rate_limit_event so the frontend can use a single
_category check instead of separate type-based early returns

ae3f011eb3 hive-agent: add stream_enrich module — stamp _icon/_summary/_category on SSE events
Move per-message rendering logic from frontend JS to backend Rust.
A new stream_enrich::enrich() function stamps display fields onto
LiveEvent::Stream payloads at SSE-emit time (both live tail and history
replay), so the frontend can consume pre-computed fields instead of
re-implementing the dispatch logic in JavaScript.

Phase 1: backend stamps _icon/_summary/_category; client falls back to
its own JS tables when absent. Zero user-visible change.

- system events: _category (drop/thinking_tok/note/details) + _summary
  and optional _body (commands_changed expands to a slash-cmd list)
- assistant tool_use entries: _icon + _summary per tool; rich tools
  (Write, Edit, send, ask, answer) get _category: 'rich'
- enrichment applied in web_ui/stream.rs at emit time; DB stores raw
  events so no migration is needed when enrichment logic changes
- idempotent: existing _-prefixed fields are left unchanged
