5bb9d7c7e5 move dashboardPort, claudeCodePackage and extraResourceAttributes to deploy.hive-controller
These three are per-host choices that hive-c0re reads and renders into
its agents, so they belong under the hive controller's deploy namespace
rather than swarm-wide:

- c0re.dashboardPort -> deploy.hive-controller.dashboardPort
- c0re.claudeCodePackage -> deploy.hive-controller.claudeCodePackage
(the claude-login and review-classifier containers on the same host
  keep following it)
- otel.extraResourceAttributes -> deploy.hive-controller.otel.extraResourceAttributes

The old paths stay as mkRenamedOptionModule aliases, now in deploy.nix
with the namespace's other renames. github.enable and the collector port
stay swarm-wide.

b68a8ef290 swarm-authelia: run the secret publisher and a journal forwarder inside the container
swarm-secret-publish and its path unit now run inside authelia's container,
beside the mint, and read each client secret at the path authelia writes it.
The host unit and host path unit, which read the secrets through the
container's root on the host, are gone, and so is
deploy.authelia.hostClientSecretDir, which only they read. The publisher keeps
its store identity, the secret-publisher leaf. The host hands the leaf and the
store's CA into the container as nspawn system credentials, and the unit loads
them; where this host mints the leaf, the container waits for swarm-bao-pki.
Authelia does not wait for the publisher, which retries every 30 seconds while
the store is down.

The container also runs the journal forwarder the other service containers
run, pushing to a receiver of its own on the swarm collector (serviceProducers
swarm-authelia) as a new machine OIDC client (swarm.authelia.otel.clientId)
that authelia registers for itself and the publisher carries to the store. The
fetch unit reads it back under the publisher's leaf, also handed to it as a
system credential, so the swarm-secret-publisher policy gains read on that one
leaf; its stanza keeps create and update, which the exact path would otherwise
take from the services/* prefix. Without the leaf the forwarder is off.

The container drops --link-journal=host, and the host collector stops reading
it. The services' "nothing at <path>" errors name the publisher in authelia's
container.

141be16c6d hive-forge: the controller-token mint writes straight to the store, and the on-disk token goes
`forgejo-swarm-controller-account`, in the forge's container, now puts
the swarm-controller's forge token into the swarm secret store itself,
under the forge publisher's leaf. The container already receives that
leaf as nspawn system credentials for its journal forwarder; the mint
loads the same three. The token reaches bao on stdin (`value=-`) and
the forge's API through a header file, never as an argument, and never
touches disk.

The mint's guard is a marker holding the published token's name, at
/var/lib/forgejo/swarm-controller-token-name, written last: after the
put, and after every other `swarm-controller-boot-*` token of the
account is revoked through forgejo's admin API, authenticated as the
new token. So a put that failed, or a marker lost while the store kept
an older token, leaves no live token behind once a mint completes. The
mint logs in to the store and checks that the account is a site admin
before it mints, so a store that is down or an account the admin API
would refuse mints nothing on each retry. Failures retry under
store-retry; forgejo does not wait for the mint. No bao read and no
grant change: the forge publisher keeps create/update on the token.

Removed: the host's `swarm-bao-forge-publisher` service and path unit,
which read the token file through the container's root, and their
entries in the store and policy ordering glue. The forge publisher's
policy unit stays; `swarm-bao-forge-oidc` still uses the leaf.

On deploy, an existing forge host has no marker, so the mint runs once:
it mints a new token, publishes it, revokes the old one, and deletes
the old /var/lib/forgejo/swarm-controller-token. The controller's next
forge call gets a 401, re-reads the store and carries on.

1302288474 swarm-ui: package option moves to deploy.swarm-controller.ui.package
The swarm UI has no switch of its own since it runs wherever the
controller runs; its package option follows it under
deploy.swarm-controller.ui. deploy.swarm-ui.package and
swarm.ui.package stay as renames and warn at evaluation. The flake's
default, the vhost root and the module-eval stub use the new path.

09ad7386b2 forge: hand the OIDC client secret to forgejo from /run, not from the container's disk
swarm-bao-forge-oidc fetched the forge's OIDC client secret from bao and wrote
it to /var/lib/nixos-containers/hive-forge/var/lib/forgejo-oidc/<id>.secret,
on the container's persistent root, where it outlived a bao rotation and was
in every backup of that tree.

Now the fetch writes it to /run/hive-forge-oidc/<id>.secret on the host
(tmpfs, root 0400). The directory is bound read-only into the container at
the same path, and forgejo-sso-source loads it through LoadCredential. A
tmpfiles rule creates the directory at boot, so the bind source always
exists, and removes the old persistent copy.

After a reboot the file is absent until the fetch succeeds, and
forgejo-sso-source fails to start until then; the fetch starts it again once
it writes the file. Logins keep working meanwhile: forgejo holds the secret
in its login-source row.

deploy.forgejo.sso.clientSecretFile (and its old swarm.forge.sso name) is
removed: it only chose where in the container the fetched file landed. The
fetch no longer needs the container's forgejo uid, so it no longer fails on a
fresh host before the container has created its state dir.

d5de1e4943 swarm UI: log an agent into claude from its card; the credentials go to bao and the agent picks them up
A new swarm service, `swarm-claude-login`, in its own container on the host
that sets `deploy.claude-login.enable` (defaulted on by `allSwarmServices`
where the host has the minter's store leaf, like the review classifier).

- swarm-ui: an agent card showing "login needed" gets a "log in" button.
Its dialog starts the login, shows the URL claude printed, and takes the
  pasted code.
- swarm-controller: `POST/DELETE /api/agents/{name}/claude-login` and
  `POST /api/agents/{name}/claude-login/code`, behind the swarm UI's
authelia-gated `/api/`, relay the steps to the minter as requests on
  `$SWARM.claude-login.request`.
- swarm-claude-login: runs `claude auth login` over piped stdio with HOME
and CLAUDE_CONFIG_DIR in a per-login scratch dir, scrapes the first
https URL, writes the code to stdin, and stores the `.credentials.json`
  at `swarm/agents/<agent>/claude-credentials` with a KV v2 write, a new
version over any earlier one. The scratch dir goes on every exit path; a
login waits 15 minutes for its code.
- hive-agent: while parked in `wait_for_login`, reads that leaf every 30 s
under the agent's own cert and installs it only when its KV version is
newer than the one recorded in `<harness>/claude-credentials-version`.
An equal or older version is never put back, because claude rotates the
refresh token and the stored copy is stale after the first refresh.
- swarm-secret-client: `claude_login` paths and `SecretStore::read_versioned`.
- Credentials: a `claude-login` store leaf minted by glue-bao-tls, a
  `swarm-claude-login` policy (create/update on
`swarm/agents/+/claude-credentials`, read on its own queue client
secret), an authelia machine client, and a `--claude-login-client`
grant in the queue's auth-callout responder. The unit runs as a static
  system user.

The hive's own web-UI login is unchanged.

34e142bb5c hive-matrix: run the homeserver in its own netns, behind a unix socket
tuwunel bound `0.0.0.0:<httpPort>` in the host netns, so the homeserver
port was open on every host address, and the gateway proxied to it on
host loopback.

The container now sets `privateNetwork = true` and hangs off the hive
bridge with a DHCP lease, the same attach the CI runner, builder and
review classifier use (resolvconf on, `networking.nameservers` the bridge
IP). tuwunel listens only on `/run/hive-matrix/tuwunel.sock`, a host
directory (root:nginx 0770) bind-mounted into the container; its primary
group is nginx's gid and the socket is 0660. The gateway's `/_matrix/`
location proxies to the socket.

The static resolv.conf goes: it existed because resolvconf's host
tracking came up empty in the shared netns.

`swarm.matrix.httpPort` and `{swarm,deploy}.matrix.openFirewall` are
removed with a message: there is no host port to choose or open. The
`.well-known/matrix/*` fallback to `<hive>:<httpPort>` is dropped with
them; it only rendered with `gatewayHost = null`, which the homeserver's
SSO assertion already rejects.

5e653ab9b5 swarm-victoriametrics: own network namespace, gateway over a unix socket
The metrics store's container gets privateNetwork = true with no
interface but loopback. VictoriaMetrics listens on
unix:/run/swarm-victoriametrics/victoriametrics.sock, a host directory
(root:nginx 0770) bind-mounted into the container, and every vhost
location that forwarded to 127.0.0.1:8428 now forwards to that socket.

The store runs as a static user whose primary group is nginx's gid,
with UMask 0007, so the socket it creates is 0770 group nginx. This
relies on VictoriaMetrics >= 1.153.0 honouring the umask (the locked
nixpkgs ships 1.153.0). nixpkgs' readiness loop curls a TCP URL, so
postStart is replaced with the same loop over --unix-socket.

swarm.victoriametrics.port is removed (nothing binds it any more), with
a mkRemovedOptionModule entry, and dropped from swarm-otel's host
port-collision assertion. The container's resolver unit is dropped:
there is no interface to reach the bridge resolver through, and the
store resolves no names.

The collector scrape, the collector push and Grafana's datasource
already reach the store by its published domain, so they are unchanged.

cafa120d77 swarm-builder: scope the forge token to the forge, one build at a time, opt-in
argus's review on #5177: the git credential helper answered every `get`,
so a config PR's own flake inputs could have git send the builder's forge
token to any host. The helper is now configured under
`credential.<forge-url>.helper` and itself answers only an https request
whose host is the forge's; a test runs it as git does and checks that
other hosts, http and non-get operations get nothing.

Builds are bounded: every `build_agent` node needs the one `builder` jobq
resource, so one runs at a time and the rest wait pending, and a newer
head cancels its PR's pending build (a running one finishes and writes on
its own commit). The builder also holds a one-permit semaphore around each
build.

`builder` and `review-classifier`, the forge logins swarm-controller owns,
join nix/reserved-names.nix, with a test tying the list to both constants.

The builder is now opt-in like the CI runner: `allSwarmServices` no longer
turns it on, since it runs unreviewed config PRs through the host's nix
daemon. mara had not answered atlas's question on the PR.

b68b74d687 swarm-builder: build each agent config PR head and post a commit status
A new `swarm-builder` service, in its own container on the host that sets
`deploy.builder.enable` (defaulted on by `allSwarmServices` where the host
has the builder's store leaf, like the review classifier).

When an `agent-configs/<agent>` PR is opened, reopened or synchronized,
swarm-controller queues a `build_agent` jobq node. The node sets a
`swarm-builder` commit status to pending on the PR head, sends
`{agent, rev, pr}` to the builder over NATS request-reply
(`$SWARM.builder.build`), and writes success (store path), failure (last
line nix printed) or error (no builder / no reply) on the head. The node
fails when the build does, so the Jobs page matches the PR.

The builder builds nix/builder/check-flake's `check` with every input
overridden: hyperhive and nixpkgs to the host's own
`c0re.hyperhiveFlake`/`c0re.nixpkgsFlake` (what a hive there renders into
its meta flake), and the agent to the PR head on the forge. Evaluation is
pure and runs in the container; builds go to the host nix daemon as an
untrusted client. The private config repo is fetched with the token of a
new read-only `builder` forge account (in the `hives` team), which the
controller mints into `swarm/services/builder/forge/token`; git gets it
from a credential helper reading the child's environment, so it is in no
argument or URL.

Credentials: a `builder` store leaf minted by glue-bao-tls on the store
host, a `swarm-builder` reader policy (forge token + its own OIDC client
secret), an authelia machine client, and a `--builder-client` grant in the
queue's auth-callout responder. The controller gains a grant on the token
path and the secret publisher a deny on it.

This is the agent-config build check atlas scoped on #5081 (slice 3):
nothing is pushed to a cache, nothing is written to KV, and a red status
gates no deploy. The check composes agent-base + the config without the
values a hive adds (CA, docs, claude-code path, ports, input follows), so
it can disagree with a hive's own build.

44346d8c6c nix: warn on the ignored swarm-ui switches instead of failing eval
deploy.swarm-ui.enable and swarm.ui.enable are declared again as

f9954b91b4 nix: run swarm-ui wherever swarm-controller runs
Remove deploy.swarm-ui.enable. Every reader (the swarm-ui vhost, the
authelia operator rule for the swarm apex, hive-network's
anyServiceEnabled) now reads deploy.swarm-controller.enable, and the
controller's webhook public URL is gated on the swarm domain alone,
since the vhost it names exists wherever the daemon does.

Both spellings of the old switch (deploy.swarm-ui.enable and the
already-renamed swarm.ui.enable) become mkRemovedOptionModule entries,
so a host that still sets either fails evaluation with a message
naming the controller toggle instead of silently changing.

Ruling (mara, #3742): "swarm-ui always runs wherever controller runs".

34bde7a5af nix: allSwarmServices turns on the review classifier
deploy.review-classifier.enable now defaults to allSwarmServices, as the
other shared services do, but only where the host has the classifier's
store identity (deploy.bao.reviewClassifierClient{Cert,Key}File). The
classifier module asserts that pair; glue-bao-tls.nix mints it only on the
host that runs the store, so a services host with the store placed
elsewhere would otherwise fail eval. An explicit value still wins.

The operator still writes the Anthropic key by hand; until then each run
fails with "no API key…" while the service runs.

5d8ab675cd nix: run the review classifier in a container of its own when a host enables it
deploy.review-classifier.enable (off by default, not derived from
allSwarmServices) puts swarm-review-classifier in its own network
namespace on the bridge, with claude-code and the daemon. A host unit
copies the classifier's store leaf into the container; the daemon reads
its queue client secret and the API key from the store with it.

- glue-bao-tls mints the review-classifier leaf; swarm-bao writes the
swarm-review-classifier role, reading exactly the API key path and the
classifier's queue client secret; swarm.nix reserves its CN.
- glue-review-classifier-oidc-client registers the machine client where
authelia runs, and the publisher carries its secret to the store.
- swarm-nats passes the client id to the responder as
  --review-classifier-client.
- Where the host runs a hive-tier collector, claude exports its metrics
there; the daemon adds the repo and the PR to the resource attributes.
- module-eval: the new grant and leaf (bao-grants, now sixteen granting
units), the container's presence and its unit (core-toggle), and the
  client registration and publishing (secret-publisher).

e2ea842a93 grafana: make socketDir readOnly and drop its rename alias
The socket's directory is its access control, so it has to stay dedicated
to Grafana's one socket. Nothing in the tree sets the option; making it
read-only turns "point it at a shared directory" into an eval error
instead of a convention.

A rename shim contributes a definition to its target, which a read-only
option refuses, so the swarm.grafana.socketDir alias goes with it. The
module-eval fixture no longer sets the old path; a new case asserts that
defining the option fails evaluation and that the default reaches nginx.

c2c61b6146 hive status publishing: read the hive's OIDC secret from the store, retry until it is there
hive-c0re publishes this hive's status to the swarm queue as the OIDC
client `hive-<name>`. Its secret came from
`deploy.hive-controller.statusPublish.clientSecretFile`, which defaulted
to authelia's minted file only on a host running both authelia and the
queue. Every other hive had no secret and never published, so the
controller showed it `never_reported`.

Now `swarm-secret-publish`, beside authelia, also copies each hive's
`hive-<name>` secret to `swarm/hives/<hive>/oidc/client`. Its policy
already allows `swarm/hives/*`. hive-c0re reads that path under the
hive's own store leaf, which the existing `swarm/hives/<hive>/*` grant
covers, and holds the value in memory.

The shared queue client no longer remembers a failed first connect for
the life of the process. A failed attempt is retried with a backoff
from 5s, doubling to a cap of 5 minutes; the dashboard banner stays up
until an attempt succeeds. The two status publishers wait for the
client instead of giving up on the first `None`, so a secret published
after boot is picked up without a restart.

Removed: the `statusPublish.clientSecretFile` option (both spellings,
now removed options with a message), its same-host default, its
LoadCredential, the assertion tying it to the other two coordinates,
and `swarm_queue_client::QueueConfig::from_env`, whose only caller was
this read. Publishing is now on wherever the queue URL and token
endpoint are set and the hive holds a store leaf.

121c4678aa swarm-controller reads its forge token from the store, not a host file
The controller's forge token never entered bao: the forge minted it in its
container, hive-forge-swarm-controller-token copied it to a host file, and the
controller LoadCredential'ed that file. forgeTokenFile defaulted to that path
only where the forge ran, so a controller on any other host had no forge
access unless an operator copied the file by hand.

Now the forge's host publishes it and the controller reads it:

- swarm-bao-forge-publisher (replaces hive-forge-swarm-controller-token)
waits for the in-container token, logs in with its own forge-publisher leaf
and writes it to swarm/controller/swarm-controller/forge/token. It runs on
every forge container start, the old unit's trigger.
- New principal swarm-forge-publisher: leaf minted by glue-bao-tls.nix,
policy create/update on that one path, written by
swarm-bao-forge-publisher-policy, CN reserved as a hive name.
- The controller policy gains read on that path. swarm-controller reads it
at start under its own certificate with the OIDC secret's retry, and runs
without forge access if it still cannot.
- forgeTokenFile, its LoadCredential and the forgeEnv gate are gone;
SWARM_CONTROLLER_FORGE_URL is always set. hostSwarmControllerTokenFile is
removed, and a tmpfiles rule deletes the old host copy on the forge host.

The in-container file stays: the mint unit's only-once guard reads it, and
it is the publisher's source.

5761398d60 hive-tls: the gateway leaf uses the services-issuer identity, not a hive's
swarm-services-cert issues the swarm-services leaf a self-signed gateway
serves, and on a host fronting no swarm name fetches the store's pki root.
It is gated on the gateway, not on a hive, yet its leaf pair was named
under deploy.hive-controller.tls and defaulted from the hive reader's cert
directory, and the root fetch presented the hive's own identity. A gateway
host with no hive had no such identity, so that branch was red by
construction.

- The pair moves to deploy.bao.servicesIssuerClient{Cert,Key}File, beside
the store's other host-unit readers, and glue-bao-tls.nix defaults it on
the store's host from the leaf it already mints. The old
  deploy.hive-controller.tls.baoClient{Cert,Key}File paths are
  mkRenamedOptionModule aliases. glue-services-issuer-bao-identity.nix,
which derived the default from deploy.bao.clientCertFile, is gone.
- The no-swarm-name root fetch presents the services-issuer pair. The hive
  identity is now only hive-tls-resign's.
- A self-signed gateway with no pair fails evaluation, naming both options.
A pair named but unreadable still fails the unit, naming the paths.

c10cc0e018 swarm-nats: take the callout issuer and user keys from the store
`swarm-bao-nats-callout-xkey` runs `ensure-callout-keys`, importing
/var/lib/swarm-nats-callout/{issuer,callout-user}.seed when present so the
keys keep their public halves, then fetches all three public halves from
the store. The verb removes each seed file once a read of the store returns
a seed; when the store's seed differs, it is kept and a warning names the
file. No tmpfiles rule touches those files, since one could run before the
import with the store sealed and leave the next run to mint a new key.

The server renders the issuer and user public halves from the fetched files,
checked for shape as the xkey's is, and does not start without them. The
responder reads both seeds from the store, so the copies into the container
and their LoadCredential entries are gone, and a tmpfiles rule removes the
copies a container still holds. `swarm-nats-callout-keys` is removed.

On the store's host the fetch unit is also ordered after
`swarm-bao-secret-publisher-policy`, so the publisher's denial of the seed
paths is written before the unit creates or keeps a seed there.

`deploy.nats.autoGenerateCallout`, `calloutUserPublicKey`,
`calloutIssuerPublicKey`, `calloutUserSeedFile` and `calloutIssuerSeedFile`
are removed with `mkRemovedOptionModule`, under `swarm.nats` too, each
message saying the keys live in the store.

93f1a76ea7 swarm CA: retire the host-held root CA, the store holds the only anchor
The secret store's pki root issues every hive's gateway leaf and the
swarm's service names, so the root swarm-ca.service generated on the
host anchors nothing and its key is a secret outside the store.

- swarm-ca.nix is gone: swarm-ca.service, root.pem and root-key.pem,
  and the swarm.ca.{autoConfigure,stateDir,validityDays} options. A
definition of any of them fails evaluation with a removal message
  (swarm-ca-removed.nix), and a tmpfiles rule deletes /var/lib/swarm-ca
on every host. singleHostSwarm no longer sets a swarm.* option.
- hive-tls-ca drops the $root slot: trust-bundle.pem holds the store's
pki root and a hive CA's public ca.pem/ca-previous.pem only.
- hivectl peer-config no longer prints the scp line for the swarm root;
the store's pki root is the one step.
- The gateway's cert import no longer stands a hive leaf or a throwaway
in for a missing swarm-services leaf where it Requires= the issuing
unit: it fails, naming swarm-services-cert.service. The stand-in stays
where the gateway does not wait (no swarm name, or the store's UI
only, whose passthrough must start with the store sealed).

Comments and docs that named swarm-ca.nix, swarm.ca.* or the host root
now name the store's pki root.

e2da5509ae swarm-ci-runner: run the forge CI runner as a swarm service
The CI runner was a hive deploy module: hive-ci.nix ran it beside the
forge, and hive-c0re registered it through the forge's admin API with
the `core` token, writing the registration token through hive-priv. It
could only run on the forge's host, and it kept an admin-scoped forge
token on a hive.

Now the runner is a swarm service:

- swarm-ci-runner.nix runs it in a `swarm-ci-runner` container on the
host that sets deploy.ci-runner.enable, reaching the forge by name.
It needs neither the forge nor a hive there.
- swarm-controller reads the forge's runner registration token with its
own admin token and writes it to swarm/services/ci-runner/
registration-token whenever it differs from what it last wrote. Its
grant on that path is create/update only.
- The runner's own leaf (CN swarm-ci-runner, role and policy of the same
name) reads that one path. swarm-bao-ci-runner.service fetches it into
the runner's EnvironmentFile and restarts the runner on a change.
- A pre-start step removes .runner when the daemon's journal since its
last start holds Forgejo's "unregistered runner" refusal (the daemon
exits 1 when its startup Declare gets it), or when .runner names
another forge address; upstream's pre-start step then registers again.

Removed from the hive side: hive-ci.nix and deploy.forgejo.ci.*,
forge/ci_runner.rs, PrivRequest::RegisterCiRunner and its handler and
ReadWritePaths entry, InfraContainer::Ci with hivectl's --ci and the
dashboard's hive-ci journal entry, HYPERHIVE_FORGE_CI_ENABLED, and
read:admin,write:admin from CORE_TOKEN_SCOPES: nothing else in hive-c0re
calls /api/v1/admin/*. The old ci options, under both swarm.forge.ci and
deploy.forgejo.ci, now fail evaluation naming deploy.ci-runner.

The forge's half of the old ci.enable, the actions/checkout mirror and
DEFAULT_ACTIONS_URL = self, is deploy.forgejo.actionsFromSelf.

e990e9a0be nix: finish the current-behaviour comment sweep in touched files
Rewrite the remaining narration in files the previous commit touched:
"moved"/"sat"/"was REMOVED"/"old default" comments in swarm-bao,
swarm-otel, glue-bao-tls, nats-authelia, swarm-controller, swarm-ui,
swarm-otel-service, swarm-authelia-service, the deploy.nix rename table,
hive-ci, hive-forge/service, hive-tls, hyperhive, swarm-nats, swarm.nix
and a few module-eval fixtures, so each says where a thing is or why it
is so now.

Revert the comment edits inside shell script strings in hive-tls,

generated units are unchanged. The only unit still changing is

48067d07e8 matrix: drop the per-hive appservice and its unused token
Every hive's homeserver loaded a per-hive `hyperhive` appservice
registration, and the swarm minted and delivered an as_token for it
through bao. No client presented that token: swarm-controller creates
every `@hive-<hive>` sender and every agent account with the swarm
appservice token (hive_sender.rs, agent_token.rs), and no Rust code read
the per-hive one.

Removed, with everything that existed only to serve it:
- hive-matrix.nix: the `hyperhive` registration, its activation-time
render, the host bind mount of /var/lib/hyperhive/matrix-appservice,
its LoadCredential entry, and the internal options
  `deploy.matrix.appserviceTokenFile` / `appserviceRegistrationScript`.
tuwunel now loads only the swarm registration.
- glue-matrix-bao-token.nix and its `swarm-bao-matrix-token` unit.
- glue-bao-tls.nix: the matrix-token leaf and its defaults.
- swarm-bao.nix: the `swarm-matrix-token-<hive>` roles and policies
  (`swarm-bao-matrix-token-policy`), and the options
  `deploy.bao.matrixTokenClient{Cert,Key}File` and
  `matrixTokenCommonNamePrefix`, now mkRemovedOptionModule.
- swarm-secret-publisher.nix: the per-hive token mint and its state dir.
- swarm.nix: the reserved `<matrixTokenCommonNamePrefix>-<hive>` CN.
- swarm-secret-client: `matrix::appservice_token_path`.

The swarm registration (swarm-matrix-ctl, swarm-controller) is untouched.
Comments and docs that pointed at the removed glue file now point at
glue-queue-agent-credential.nix, which has the same reader shape.

5526daab97 hive-tls: issue the gateway leaf from bao with a per-hive identity
Every hive gets its own store identity (CN
<deploy.bao.hiveLeafCommonNamePrefix>-<hive>) and its own role on the
existing pki mount (<deploy.bao.hiveLeafPkiRolePrefix>-<hive>), whose
allowed_domains is the hive's domain and *.<domain>. The policy grants
update on that one issue path. swarm-bao-hive-leaf-policy writes role,
policy and cert-auth role for every hive in swarm.hives; the store's host
mints its own hive's identity in glue-bao-tls.nix and a new glue file
points deploy.hive-controller.tls.baoHiveIdentity{Cert,Key}File at it.
Hives on other hosts place it by hand. swarm.nix reserves the composed CN.

hive-tls-ca no longer generates a hive CA or signs a leaf: caGenScript,
signLeafScript/signHiveLeaf and the adoption block are gone, ca-key.pem
is deleted where it exists, and the unit only assembles trust-bundle.pem.
The retired ca.pem/ca-previous.pem stay in the bundle so leaves they
signed keep verifying.

hive-tls-resign becomes the bao issuance: at boot, on deploy and from a
daily timer it re-issues when the leaf is missing, past half the role's
lifetime, missing a name, or not chained to the store's pki root. Nothing
orders the gateway after it, so a valid leaf on disk never waits on the
store; a failed renewal leaves the leaf in place. A missing identity
fails the unit naming both options, as does the root fetch on a hive
fronting no swarm name, which now presents this identity instead of the
reader cert.

caValidityDays and leafValidityDays are removed (both spellings), since
nothing reads them.

f60f8af33b matrix: serve the web client unconditionally; link it from the swarm domain
Removes services.hyperhive.deploy.matrix.gui.enable and its
swarm.matrix.gui.enable alias; both are mkRemovedOptionModule stubs. A
host running the homeserver serves fluffychat at gatewayHost's vhost,
and the hive's /matrix/ redirect follows the same condition.

The swarm-controller builds the Matrix quick link from
swarm.matrix.gatewayHost, replacing hive-matrix.nix's per-host entry.
HIVE_MATRIX_PUBLIC_URL is set on every hive with a gatewayHost, so
`hivectl open matrix` resolves off the homeserver's host too.

Drops HIVE_MATRIX_GUI_ENABLED and the dashboard's matrix_gui_enabled

ac592a5d23 forge: always behind the gateway; drop behindGateway
The forge always sits behind the gateway, so `deploy.forgejo.behindGateway`
(and its `swarm.forge.behindGateway` rename alias) is removed and its
true-branch behaviour is now unconditional within `deploy.forgejo.enable`:
https ROOT_URL on the gateway's httpsPort, the forge vhost and local DNS
name, the swarm-ui quick link, the published metrics scrape target, forgejo
metrics, the authelia `/metrics` rule, and `publicUrl` defaulting to
`https://<forge.domain>`.

Removed with it: the direct-port `http://<domain>:<httpPort>/` ROOT_URL
branch, the hive-ci assertion that the option is true, the core-toggle
cases that only exercised the false branch (the services-leaf case reads
`bare`, which never enabled the forge either). `hivectl open forge` now
points at `swarm.forge.publicUrl`, which can still be set to null.

4e8225c058 nix: split hive-forge into service and deploy-mode files
`swarm.forge` (what the forge is to every hive: ports, domain, public and
root URLs, OIDC client id and callback) moves to
nix/host-modules/hive-forge/service.nix, together with the rename of the
old `services.hyperhive.forge` tree and the removed `swarm.forge.sso.enable`,
both of which name `swarm.forge` paths. Everything else -- the
`deploy.forgejo` options, the whole `config` block including
`containers.hive-forge`, and the helpers only they read -- stays in
nix/host-modules/hive-forge/default.nix, which now imports ./service.nix.
Importing it from the directory's own default.nix, as hive-c0re/ and
hive-gateway/ do with their option files, keeps the flake's standalone
`nixosModules.hive-forge` export whole.

Both halves read `cfg`, `gatewayCfg`, `swarmDomain` and `deployCfg`. They
are option reads, so each file binds them from `config`. `ssoSourceName`,
`defaultRootUrl` and `effectiveRootUrl` are not options and both halves
need them (the service half builds `sso.redirectUri` from them, the deploy
half registers the login source and sets ROOT_URL), so they are duplicated,
with a note at each copy. `ssoRedirectUri` is read only by the service
half and moves.

`swarm.forge.publicUrl` and `swarm.forge.sso.redirectUri` default from
`deploy.forgejo.behindGateway`; both move as they are.

A pure move: option paths, option definitions and config are unchanged
apart from comments: the two on either side of the cut, the
`ssoRedirectUri` comment and the duplication notes, and the rename
precedent in ./deploy.nix, which now names ./hive-forge/service.nix.

e94406cdb9 swarm-controller: read the queue client secret from the store, drop the file
Some checks were skipped
public bin cache / build + push to preem:grid (push) Has been skipped
The controller's OIDC client secret (client `swarm-controller`, used for
the queue connection, the auth-bridge bearer and the OTLP push) came from
an operator-placed file, `deploy.swarm-controller.queue.clientSecretFile`,
handed in by `LoadCredential=`.

Now `swarm-secret-publish`, which already copies authelia's minted OIDC
secrets into the store, also publishes this one, to
`swarm/controller/swarm-controller/oidc/client`. That path sits under
`controller/`, which no hive's policy reads. The controller reads it once
at start with its existing store certificate and holds it in memory, as
`swarm_queue_client::ClientSecret::Value`. If the store is down, it
retries for about a minute and then fails the start, so `Restart=` tries
again.

Policy delta: the controller gets `read` on that leaf, and the publisher
gets `create`/`update` on that leaf.

Removed: the `queue.clientSecretFile` option (both spellings, now removed
options with a message), its singleHostSwarm default, the credential and
placeholder, and the path watcher plus its restart oneshot. A controller
without a store identity is now an eval error, because it has no other
way to get the secret.

3202cde704 nix: gate hive-c0re on deploy.hive-controller.enable, drop hyperhive.enable
`services.hyperhive.enable` and `services.hyperhive.c0re.enable` are gone.
One switch, `services.hyperhive.deploy.hive-controller.enable` (default
false, as the old toggle was), now gates hive-c0re and hive-priv. Both old
paths are `mkRenamedOptionModule` shims in deploy.nix, so a host config
that still sets either evaluates as before and gets a rename warning.

Every other read of the old toggle is resolved, including the 29 made
through the `hyperhiveCfg`/`hiveCfg` aliases:

- Dropped: each swarm service and its glue keeps only its own deploy
toggle (authelia, bao and its PKI glue, grafana, victorialogs,
victoriametrics, the secret publisher, swarm-ca, the OIDC client rows,
  the controller/nats/matrix-ctl/publisher/services-issuer identities),
the forge, and the `domain` deprecation warning.
- To deploy.hive-controller.enable: the queue-agent credential reader and
its assertion, which feed hive-c0re and write under its state dir, plus
their policy-order entry; the network identity assertions; hive-tls's
  two writes into hive-c0re's environment.
- hive-tls runs where the gateway runs self-signed
  (`gateway.enable && useSelfSigned`), not on every host.
- The matrix appservice-token reader and its assertion stay on
`deploy.matrix.enable` plus their client-identity checks. They read
deploy.matrix's token file and registration script; their deploy.bao
inputs are the client-half options a hive sets to read a store it does
not run, so gating on deploy.bao.enable would drop the tested
  remote-reader case.
- The `hiveName` assertion moves from hive-network.nix to hyperhive.nix
and fires wherever the hive, the store or the homeserver runs: each
turns the name into an identifier with no fallback.

On a host with `deploy.allSwarmServices` and no hive, the documented
services-host recipe, authelia, bao, grafana, victorialogs,
victoriametrics, the OIDC client rows and the hive CA now render; before,
the old toggle being off left them out.

978164dc53 nix: run the forge on one host per swarm (deploy.forgejo.enable)
Every hive with hyperhive enabled ran its own hive-forge container, and
its gateway answered forge.<swarm> with its own bridge IP, so on a
multi-host swarm each hive talked to its own forge.

deploy.forgejo.enable defaults to false and allSwarmServices sets it with
mkDefault, like authelia and bao; singleHostSwarm gets it through that.
The forge's OIDC client moves to a glue module gated on authelia, so a
split authelia/forge swarm still registers it. CI now requires the forge
on the same host, and the controller's forgeTokenFile defaults to null
where the forge is not.

7ee7080b21 matrix: remove the registration token
Nothing reads it any more: hive-c0re creates accounts as the hive's
appservice, so the mint, the host file, the bind mount, the
`LoadCredential` entry and tuwunel's `registration_token_file` all go.

⚠️ `allow_registration` has to go to `false` in the same change, and not
as hardening. tuwunel refuses to START when registration is allowed with
no token configured — it demands
`yes_i_am_very_very_sure_…_open_registration_…` instead — so dropping the
token and leaving the flag true is not a lax homeserver, it is one that
does not boot. The flag is checked only for requests arriving without an
appservice token, so hive-c0re provisions exactly as before and everyone
else is refused outright.

The swarm secret store keeps its role, repointed at the credential that
replaced the token (`swarm/hives/<hive>/matrix/appservice-token`). Its
unit now also re-runs hive-matrix's own registration renderer after
writing the file: the token is half an agreement, and a registration
still naming the previous value authenticates nobody. The renderer is
shared through an internal option rather than copied, so the
registration's shape has one home.

Both spellings of `registrationTokenFile` become
`mkRemovedOptionModule` with a message naming what replaced them. A hive
that never set the option — the default — is unaffected; one that pinned
it fails to evaluate with instructions instead of a silent no-op.

An upgraded hive needs no intervention: the activation script has both
halves in place before the homeserver restarts, existing agents keep the
tokens their devices already hold, and the old token file is left on
disk read by nothing. docs/integrations/matrix.md spells the path out.

df18d3d4d7 forge: move the forgejo package to deploy — slice 10 complete
The last of the twelve. `swarm.forge.package` becomes
`deploy.forgejo.package`, beside the `behindGateway` / `mirrors` /
host-secret options that were already there.

⚠️ `deploy.forgejo`, not `deploy.forge`. The forge joins the controller
and the UI as a mover where the two sides simply do not share a name,
so the shim comment says which one.

Four readers, and one of them is why an anchored grep was the wrong
instrument: `:678` reads `cfg.package.data`, a sub-attribute, which
`cfg.package}` and `cfg.package/` both miss.

Three copies of the same sentence claimed the package stays under
`swarm.forge` — `deploy.nix`, this module's own `deploy.forgejo`
header, and `docs/integrations/forge.md`. The docs one is outside
`nix/` entirely. A namespace split gets described wherever the split is
explained, which is not only where the option is declared.

`forgeOldPath` gains the old path, and its comment's count of the
host-side options goes five → six with it.

ce4d5187a9 deploy: two comments still say a package stays under swarm.*
Both are regressions from earlier commits in this same slice, not
pre-existing drift:

- the nats comment listed "the responder package" among what stays
  under `swarm.nats`; `authPackage` moved in a17286c4
- the matrix comment listed "its package" among what `swarm.matrix`
keeps; both matrix packages moved in 1b2da54c

Each move edited the prose in the module that declares the option —
`swarm-nats.nix` carries the same "responder package" sentence and it
was corrected there — but deploy.nix keeps its own one-paragraph
description of every service, next to that service's shims. It is a
per-module prose site that does not live in the module, so a sweep
scoped to the module cannot reach it.

The counts in both comments were checked and are correct as written:
the matrix block has six shims and the nats block five. The `*.package`
entries append to the separate block further down, which already has a
comment saying what it is, so no count moved. Each fix is one clause.

cc82badd56 swarm: move the controller's two packages to deploy
`package` (the daemon build) and `swarmctlPackage` (the operator CLI
installed beside it) are host decisions, so they join the
`deploy.swarm-controller` block that already holds `enable`, the socket
path and the three local-disk credentials.

⚠️ The target namespace is spelled out in the shim comment because
getting it wrong here does not fail. `deploy.hive-controller` also
exists — it is hive-c0re's, carrying `tls.*` and `statusPublish.*`, and
is referenced from four modules. A rename pointing at it would land on
a live, unrelated option and evaluate cleanly. The module already warned
about this above its own deploy block; the warning now sits next to the
entries it governs too.

`swarm-ui.nix`'s package description cited `swarm.controller.package` as
the precedent for "wired from flake.nix rather than defaulted to pkgs".
That was true when written and stops being true here, so it moves with
it — it lives in a module this slice already finished, which is exactly
where a per-module sweep stops looking.

These were the last two `services.hyperhive.swarm.*` writers in
flake.nix; that file now has none.

Riding along, and not a defect fix: `controllerOldPath` spelled `enable`
the NEW way while every other entry used the old one, so six of the
seven controller shims were exercised and the seventh was not. It is
named for testing old paths, so it now uses the old path throughout.
Unlike the nats fixture there was no comment claiming otherwise — this
is coverage the fixture was already shaped to provide.

889a46729b swarm: move both authelia packages to deploy
`package` (which authelia build runs in the container) and
`bridgePackage` (which `swarm-authelia-bridge` build writes the users
file) are both host decisions, so they join the `deploy.authelia` block
that already holds `enable`, `usersFile` and the two host-side paths.

Six readers, and one of them is why this commit touches a second module:
`swarm-controller.nix` reads `autheliaCfg.package` for
`SWARMCTL_AUTHELIA_BIN`. A per-module sweep never sees that — it is a
cross-reference between two movers, and whichever landed second would
have inherited a dangling alias. The alias itself stays: it still has
three live uses for `url` and `bridgeUrl`.

Two comments needed real edits rather than a rename:

- The `deploy.authelia` header said "all three of these are the same
kind of thing — a filesystem path". It is five options now and two
are packages, so the sentence distinguishes the builds from the
paths, and keeps "a hive that does not run it has nothing at any of
those paths" scoped to the paths it is true of.
- `module-eval.nix` said "Only `usersFile` has a rename entry",
explaining that authelia's other slice-7 movers are `readOnly` and a
rename module cannot contribute a definition to those. That reasoning
is worth keeping, but the claim stopped being true one line above the
  two entries this commit adds.

The fixture gains both old paths; no new case. `autheliaOldPath`'s
existing arms already fail the eval if either shim goes missing.

0fe0df8d63 swarm: move the queue's responder package to deploy
`swarm.nats.authPackage` is the callout responder's build — a host
decision like every other package in this slice — so it joins the
`deploy.nats` block that already holds `enable`, the seed paths and the
auto-mint toggle. Its one reader is the `ExecStart` in this file.

Three comments moved with it, and none of them survived the move
unedited:

- The "deliberately NO `package` option" note now says *anywhere* —
it argued against a `package` under `swarm.nats`, and after the move
a reader's next question is why there isn't one under `deploy.nats`
either, where every other service's build now lives.
- The description's "see the note above" stopped resolving: the note
is ~80 lines up and in a different option block, so it names
  `options.services.hyperhive.swarm.nats` explicitly.
- The split-rationale comment listed "the responder package" among
what the queue IS to every hive. It's what the host running it
decides, so it moved to that half of the sentence.

`flake.nix` writes this option (`lib.mkDefault`), so the writer is
repointed too — three of those left, all in the same block.

The eval fixture gains the old path rather than a new case: the shim
is what a dropped rename would break, and `natsOldPath` already fails
the eval if any single entry goes missing.

190763b3a2 swarm: move the swarm UI's package to deploy, emptying swarm.ui
Same rule as the four movers before it. What makes this one different is
that `package` was the LAST option under `services.hyperhive.swarm.ui` —
`enable` moved in an earlier slice — so the namespace now holds nothing
and survives only as its two rename entries.

Two consequences worth naming:

flake.nix set `swarm.ui.package` directly. Left alone the shim would
have kept it working, which is exactly the trap: this repo's own flake
would then be setting the option through its own deprecation shim and
warning on every eval. It is repointed here. Four sibling assignments in
that file name movers this commit does not touch; they move with theirs.

The `cfg` alias is deleted. With the one code reader repointed it bound
nothing but an empty attrset — which still evaluates, so nothing would
have failed; it would just have sat there implying `swarm.ui` still held
something. Three comments naming `cfg.package` are repointed with it.

`uiOldPath` sets both old paths, so dropping either rename fails the
eval. Its case reads the vhost's rendered `root` rather than the option,
because that is the half a resolving-but-unwired shim would break.

Not touched: swarm-ui.nix's description says its default is wired "the
same way `swarm.controller.package` is", which is true until the
controller moves. It belongs to that commit, not this one.

e091add37a swarm: move both metric stores' package to deploy, and cover their shims
Same rule as matrix and grafana: which build a service runs is a decision
of the host that runs it. Both stores already had a `deploy.<store>`
option for retention, so the package joins something rather than opening
a namespace.

The prose in both modules claimed the package as part of "what the store
IS from any hive's point of view" — a client hive needs the domain and
the port to reach a store, never the build it runs. deploy.nix's own
comment made the same claim about the pair and is corrected with them.

Separately, and the reason this commit adds a fixture rather than a line:
NEITHER STORE HAD AN OLD-PATH FIXTURE AT ALL. `swarm.victorialogs.` and
`swarm.victoriametrics.` had zero hits in module-eval.nix, so the
`enable` shims from the first slice and both `retentionPeriod` shims have
been uncovered since they landed — the suite would have gone green with
any of them deleted. That is precisely what the wireguard fixture's own
comment warns about: a missing shim reads as a clean tree and breaks
every existing operator config.

`storesOldPath` therefore sets all six old paths, not just the two this
commit moves. The case reads the package the CONTAINER renders rather
than the option, so a shim that resolves but stops reaching the module
fails too.

0002c15dc3 swarm: move grafana's package to deploy, beside the rest of its host knobs
Same rule as the matrix pair: which build a service runs is a decision of
the host that runs it, so `package` follows `enable` out of the namespace
every hive must agree on byte for byte.

Grafana already had a `deploy.grafana` block holding the datasources, the
plugin list and the socket directory, so this is the package joining
options it belongs with rather than a new namespace.

Prose: the swarm-side header listed "its package" among what stays; the
deploy-side header listed what the host decides without it. Both edited,
which is the fix — a substitution on the first alone would have left the
second silently incomplete.

`swarm-grafana.nix:219` was on the sweep list and is NOT edited: it says
what stays above is what the service is to every hive, and that stays
true once the package leaves. The stale half was the sentence after it.

d6f23ff371 swarm: move the matrix packages to deploy, where their enable already lives
Which build a service runs is a decision of the host that runs it, so
`*.package` belongs with `enable` rather than in the namespace every hive

The `gui` pair was the sharpest case and the reason this starts here:
`gui.enable` moved to `deploy.*` in an earlier slice while `gui.package`
stayed behind, so one web client's two halves sat in two namespaces —
and hive-matrix.nix said so, in a comment directly above the option.
The diff removes a stated inconsistency rather than introducing a rule.

Both old paths keep working through `mkRenamedOptionModule`; both are
settable (neither is `readOnly`), so both get a shim. The `matrixOldPath`
fixture in module-eval.nix now sets eight options through their
pre-rename paths instead of six, so dropping either new shim fails the
eval rather than silently dropping a definition.

Prose swept in the same commit: three comments claimed the package was
swarm-wide or named the pre-rename path, and docs/web-ui/dashboard.md
named `swarm.matrix.gui.package` two lines above
`deploy.matrix.gui.enable` — the same asymmetry this commit exists to
remove, displayed in the docs. A shim keeps the old spelling valid, so
no build, lint or broken-reference search would have found that line.

01ce968fb6 nix: split statusPublish and the otel secret into deploy.*
Slices 8 and 9 of the swarm/deploy split, and the last two.

statusPublish had three coordinates under one namespace. Two of them
are this machine's — where the queue listens *as seen from here*, and
where its client secret sits on this disk — so they move to
`deploy.hive-controller.statusPublish.*`, the namespace of the daemon
that is their only reader. `tokenEndpoint` is the swarm's one address,
so it stays. That leaves `swarm.statusPublish` holding a single option:
a legitimate split, not a botched move.

The all-or-nothing assertion now spans both namespaces. It is repointed
in both its condition and its message, and the message spells all three
paths in full so an operator is never told to set two options under a
path that only has one. `environment.nix`'s guard and the value beside
it likewise read different namespaces on purpose.

The collector's secret moves the same way, for the same reason, to
`deploy.swarm-otel.*` — `enable` already lives there. That also retires
one of the eight cross-namespace assignments tracked in #4048: the
delivery unit set a `swarm.*` value under a `deploy.*` gate, and now
sets a `deploy.*` value under one.

module-eval gets a fixture per slice. `otelRemoteAuthelia` already set
the collector secret through its pre-rename path, so it becomes slice
9's old-path case as it stands — left spelled that way deliberately,
with a comment, so it is not read later as a missed site.

That fixture also turned out to be describing an impossible hive: it
said authelia lives elsewhere without saying where, so the
authenticator interpolated a null `swarm.authelia.url` into its
`token_url`. Nothing to do with the rename, and invisible to the
existing case over the same fixture, which reads `? auth` and `elem` —
both stop at names and never force the extension's value. Given the
address a remote-IdP deployment has.

Verified: 49 -> 51 properties, all holding.
